These are surgeries to be performed in cases of dissatisfaction with the shape and size of the ear, and in severe asymmetries between the two ears. Often prominent ear aesthetics, ear reduction, earlobe aesthetics are applied. Prominent ear is due to the high angle between the head and the ear and the insufficient development of the upper fold on the ear. It is recommended to be operated in pre-school childhood, so that mocking at school age is prevented and self-confidence is prevented. Single or double sided operation can be performed.

Before Surgery

Detailed medical history is taken, patient examination, the expectations of the person, information about the operation, and photographing before the procedure. Does not require inspection.

Operation

​

It can be performed under general or local anesthesia. The process takes about 1-1.5 hours. Dressing is done in the form of a bandage.

Postoperative

​

Nutrition begins in the early period and the patient is mobilized after feeding. The patient can be discharged on the same day or stay in the hospital for 1 night. Bandages are removed on the 2nd day and a bath can be made. The stitches dissolve on their own. A hair band is used for 3 weeks after the surgery. You can return to work on the 5th-7th day. Light activities can be done after 2-3 weeks and heavy activities after 1 month.
